If you have not tried any of the Le Creuset bakeware, dishes, or other cookware you have missed a treat.They are rather heavy but cook so well with good even heat and if oone sprays them before baking they are very easy to clean. Have been redecorating and actually got a set of dishes to bring out some red in the kitchen and the Cheer is absolutely beautiful.

I love cooking in these Le Cresuset pans. They are heavy, hold heat well, and bake evenly.I made a beautiful triple layer cake by using a Dassant Cake Mix Dassant Chocolate Chocolate Chip Cake Mix, 17.25-Ounce (Pack of 6).(check out other Dassant flavors) Each box of the mix makes one layer when cooked in the larger pan. Making 3 took a little time, but it was worth it: a beautiful and unusual, triple layer cake. When iced with chocolate icing, it was out of this world! Since I can always trust these pans to bake evenly, I always know the layers will be the same and the cake will be great!I also use these pans when I make a scratch cake. I add extra ingredients so that I have about one third more than the recipe calls for. Then I put the extra in the small pan.
