Smaller than expected

I too read the dimensions and thought I knew what I was buying. We have a 7 X 11 dish, so I expected it to be around that size. This dish can fit inside my 7 X 11 dish, so don't think the advertised dimensions are quite right. So just expect a small dish. I bought it for quiche and I'm not sure it will work for that.

NIce, but smaller than you think

I've purchased the smaller square dishes and loved them, so I thought I'd get the larger rectangle one. Very nice indeed, but it was smaller than I had in mind. The measurements are correct in the description, but in my head I was picturing it larger. LOL I love using these for apple tarts.

Both dishes were in cardboard boxes with no cushioning materials of any kind. This was the perfect size for replacing a broken dish so I was excited to find it and disappointed twice when they both arrived damaged. Who would send a porcelain dish with no protection? It may go differently for you but be aware.
