Combines form and function for an attractive and useful baking dish

Having used primarily metal or glass cookware up until now, giving Paula Deen's southern stoneware baking dish a spin in the kitchen was a real treat. Our first run with it was cheese stuffed manicotti, with some delicious baked treats follwoing, and now it's quickly becoming our go-to baking dish.The stoneware dish is seriously heavy duty and feels much sturdier than the average baking pan. The rounded edges and curved in structure makes it easier to clean by hand as foods don't cling to the surfaces like they would with a metal baking pan.This is also a fantastic multitasking kitchen addition, as besides working as a baking dish and doubling as a storage device that can stay in the fridge or freezer, it's also an attractive centerpiece that works well for presentation on the dinner table. In a great combination of form, function, and relatively low price, Paula Deen's stoneware baker is a definite winner.
