I used this product for a soap mold when making glycerine based soaps. The hearts are pretty big for a bar of soap, but when I got reviews on my soaps -- it seems that a lot of people like a big bar like this for soap, instead of little bars that pop out of your hands. Probably used the mold 24 times or so, with absolutely no problems with the mold releasing the soap. The mold promptly poppped back into shape also

First I will say I have not yet baked a cake in this small heart shaped silicone pan. Instructions suggest the pan be sprayed with non-stick oil first which I do, just a couple of squirts and then use my finger to spread it all around and into the corners. And here is what I do next - I love Bakers Unsweetened chocolate but the cubes are way too hard and thick to eat as is so I place one in this little pan, microwave for 30 seconds, spread the melted chocolate around and to the edges with the back of a spoon, lick spoon, then place the pan in the 'fridge or freezer for a bit to harden. The flexible pan allows me to break up the hardened chocolate into bite sized bits and I keep them in a sealed container in the 'fridge for snacking on. Even better is to add some roasted cacao nibs and toasted sesame seeds to the melted chocolate but that is so good I eat it all up too fast so I don't do it often. Sometimes I sprinkle a tiny amount of powdered peppermint extract on top of the melted chocolate and it sinks in and becomes part of the hardened results and that's tasty too. One of these days I am going to pour some cake or muffin batter into this little pan and bake it, and when I do I'll come back and add to this review.
