I was looking for serving bowls which can also be used for re-heating food. So I was looking something that is oven, microwave and dishwasher safe. Also, I wanted something that is not white. My dinner plates are purple design over white. I got very bored of white plates and white serving dishes. This bowl meets all my criteria. The design is good. It is chic and modern. I got purple color to go with my dinnerware. It has a good shine too. The handles make it really easy to hold and carry it. By looking at the picture and 10 inches size, I thought it will be too big. But it doesn't look huge. It's perfect size for serving veggies, curries and other side dishes.
