Great replacementI'm a mom
For about a year now, I have been lamenting the loss of my 8 x 8 square Pyrex dish. When I went to buy a new one, I noticed that they did something weird to the handles. No longer were the handles small protrusions on the side of the dish, but instead - they were large *handles*. In addition, the size of the interior of the dish seemed smaller, and the sides of the dish sloped in at a rather extreme angle compared to my last dish. I also found, after research, that the new Pyrex dishes seem to have a bit of an issue with shattering whilst in the oven. So, after much consideration and searching, I found this dish. Mine was an Anchor Hocking (though I'm not sure if they leave the brand out because different brands are shipped) which is a very well known and respected company. I am *very* happy with this purchase!
This company (Kitchen Supply) sends damaged items.Enzyme E.
I gave this one star not because I dislike the item, but because the supplier, Kitchen Supply, sends damaged goods. The first one we got had a big, obvious chip in the glass at the top. The replacement had a much more subtle, but still clearly flawed, area of glass, in exactly the same spot, leading me to believe that this company is sending out seconds/irregulars/damaged goods, without acknowledging them as such on their site. Such a flaw would be a weak spot, compromising the structural integrity of the glass. We're returning it and buying the same item from a different vendor.

I could not find my 8 x 8 glass pan and I needed one within a day. I ordered this one, hoping that it was of similar quality. I got it in and discovered that it is exactly the same as the one I could not find (it is a brand name item). I recommend this pan. I anticipate using it for years to come. It was the least expensive glass 8 x 8 pan on Amazon when I bought it, and I see no reason to have paid any more than I did.
